Questions before we work together?
Here are straightforward answers to the questions small brands and founders most often have about working with a China-side supplier partner.
What exactly do you do?+
I act as your China-side supplier partner, supporting supplier sourcing, communication, RFQ coordination, quotation comparison, sampling, production follow-up, and ongoing supplier coordination.
My role is to help keep communication clear, information organized, and your supplier projects moving forward.
Who do you typically work with?+
I primarily work with small brands, startups, founders, and product entrepreneurs who manufacture—or plan to manufacture—physical products in China.
This is especially useful for lean teams that do not have a dedicated sourcing or supplier management team in China.
I already have a supplier in China. Can you still help?+
Yes. You do not need to be looking for a new supplier to work with me.
I can also help with existing supplier communication, production follow-up, timeline tracking, sample coordination, resolving communication gaps, and finding backup suppliers.
Are you a sourcing agency?+
I work as an independent China-side supplier consultant rather than a large sourcing agency.
This means clients work directly with me and receive hands-on, personalized support throughout the process.
Can you guarantee that a supplier is reliable?+
No supplier relationship can be guaranteed based on research alone.
I provide commercial research, initial screening, communication, and coordination to help you make a more informed decision. When formal verification is required, factory audits, inspections, testing, or other professional services can be coordinated with qualified third-party providers.
Do you perform factory inspections or quality testing?+
I do not personally provide certified factory audits, laboratory testing, or professional inspection services.
When required, I can help coordinate appropriate third-party specialists and keep communication between all parties organized.
Can you help negotiate with suppliers?+
Yes. I can support communication around pricing, MOQ, samples, lead times, packaging, and commercial terms.
Final commercial decisions always remain with the client.
What types of products do you work with?+
I focus primarily on physical consumer products and general merchandise that are suitable for manufacturing in China.
For highly regulated categories—such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or products requiring specialized regulatory expertise—additional professional support may be required.
How does working together start?+
We start with a complimentary initial conversation.
You tell me about your product, current stage, supplier situation, main challenges, and timeline. I will then determine whether I can help and recommend an appropriate next step.
How do you charge?+
Pricing depends on the scope of the project.
Some projects may be handled on a fixed project basis, while ongoing supplier coordination may be structured as a monthly service. After understanding your needs, I will provide a clear scope and fee before work begins.
Where are you based?+
I work between Montana, USA and Nanjing, China.
This allows me to understand both U.S. client expectations and China-side supplier communication and working practices.
